It's been forever since I have done a new post. Cooper is now almost 10 months old. He is so much fun and keeps me so busy.

Cooper is 7 and a half months old now. I can't believe what a little man he has become in the last month. He babbles all the time and loves to blow rasberries. He is crawling all over the house and is actually taking a few steps with support. He would rather be standing then sitting. We call him our little monkey because he jumps all the time if you are holding him. He can crusie around objects. Brandon put in a pond in the backyard. Brandon and Cooper go out every morning and feed the fish. He now always wants to be outside. He will point outside and get fussy unless you give into his demands! He is getting up on average 2 times a night. Every since he started teething at 5 months he hasn't sleeped through the night. Our hearts belong to our little monkey!!

We spent 4th of July like we always do...at my parents. They shoot off fireworks right above the house from the resort. We weren't sure how Cooper would react, but he loved them. He would laugh after each one. Halfway throu all the kids passed out

I can't believe Cooper is 6 months old. I know all mom's say this....but time goes by so fast. Cooper is on the move army crawling and rolling all over the house. Were did my baby go that just wants to sit on my lap!! He loves to stand and hold on to anything he can. He is sitting up all by himself. I love the babble he does and blowing rasberries. His little wave goodbye is so cute. Everyone keeps telling me this is when it gets excitting....can't wait to see what he does next.

Cooper is almost 4 months old. The past month has been so busy. It seems like Brandon and I have not had a weekend at home in so long. Cooper is now laughing and rolling over. He has moved into his big boy room. That was a hard transition not for him, but me. We are working on getting him to take a bottle. Its not going very well so if anyone has a suggestion let me know!

First time in the pool. He loved it!!

Uncle Jack and Aunt Sue came to visit. Cousin JC was also in town. It was so nice to see everyone.

14 weeks

Cooper had a big day today....he rolled over from tummy to back with no help at all. I was playing with him on the floor and got up to anserw the phone. I had put him on his belly when I left and wen I came back he had his butt in the air and rolled over. I'm such a proud momma!!! I will post new pictures soon.....need to put them on the computer!

It is hard to believe that the little man is amost 3 months old. It such a weid feeling because time is going by fast, but yet it feels like I have had him foreve. Its hard to remember what I did before he was here. He is working on rolling over. He does better from is tummy to his back, but gets stuck half way. That could be because he hates tummy time!!

It was a rough play time!! He just past out on the floor, so I put a blanket on him and left him there to nap.

Saturday we had my mom's 60th birthday party at our house. She is a amazing women that everyone is lucky to have in their lives. Mom...remember 60 is the new 40!!

Brandon couldnt get through the day with out all the grandkids wanting a ride in the rhino. He told them they had to eat all the food on their plates before they could go...which for these kids is a task!!

It’s so funny how babies seem to come in waves. When I was expecting there were 6 other people between work and friends that were all due with in 3 months of each other. So far Brandon and I have a friend due now in August, one is September and one in October. It has to be in the water!! Congratulations to everyone!!

One Month Old

I can’t believe Cooper is one month old all ready. It is amazing to see how much they grow and change in 4 short weeks. He is now smiling at everything and will laugh in his sleep. He is still sleeping good waking up at 3am and 5am. He snores like his father and is cranky in the morning like his mother. Brandon has not been feeling very well and it is killing him to keep his distance from him.

Everyone keeps asking how the dogs are doing with him...if you want to get to cooper you have to get past her... Sprocket is very protective of him and Dookie just keeps her distance

Happy 3 week birthday!! Cooper is such a good boy. He lets mommy and Daddy sleep sometimes for a good 4 hour stretch now. He weighs 10.07 and to getting stronger ever day. I am trying to keep updating ever week so everyone can see what he is up to. Brandon went back to work yesterday. He was very bummed to be leaving us, but someone has to work! Cooper and I missed him during the day. James and Nichol were so nice to bring us dinner last night. It was delicious home made Mac and cheese. Thank you guys!

I'm This Big!!!

Today was a very traumatic day. Cooper had his circumcision…ouch! He did very well in the room with the doctor, but then screamed like we have never heard him for about 12 minutes after. Can’t say I blame him! Poor guy!! He has gained back the weight he lost and then some, weighing in at 9.8. I can’t get over how much Brandon and I are in love with him. He is officially 2 weeks old today…he’s growing up!!

Cooper's Birthday

Cooper Lee is Here!!! He was born January 9th at 8 am. I went in for a scheduled c-section. The little man was not very little weighing in at 9 pounds 2 ounces. He was not making any attempt to come out on his own so the doctors went in after him. He is the most amazing little man ever. The surgery went great and we got to leave the hospital after 2 nights. Brandon and I can’t stop looking at him! Being a parent is truly the greatest gift.

Cooper Update

We went to the doctor yesterday. I am measuring at 37 weeks, but reality I am 35 weeks. The doctor is sending me for an ultrasound. I am excited to see the little man again. The doctor originally was not going to do another ultrasound because there were no concerns. She said it could be because he is a big boy or the position he is in. He flipped last Monday…trust me I felt even inch of him turning around. He now is stretched out with his head in my bladder and is feet under my ribs…makes sleeping, walking, eating, sitting…well just about everything a strain. I am off work on the 19th….only 8 more days with students!! I have been told that I need to get my act together and pack our bags for the hospital, but I can’t seem to get it accomplished. I am so excited to meet Cooper!!

Saturday was Coopers Shower. We had it a little early because with the holidays coming up we knew everyone would be very busy. It was a great day with a lot of friends and family. Cooper is already a spoiled little man. My sister-in-law Karina made me a diaper cake. I had made her one when Talan was born, but she out did me with her's. Our cousin JoJo from Canada sent me flowers to the shower. They got there right as the shower was starting...it was such a great surprise.

Here is about the only picture you will see of me from the shower. I feel like a big blob these days. Cooper has been sticking straight out for a couple months now.

We're Back!!!

We just got home after 2 weeks in Canada. We had such a great time with family. The family threw a surprise baby shower for Brandon and me. I was truly surprised and could not believe the work and planning that went into such a beautiful shower with out me even catching on. We stayed with Brandon’s Cousin Dan and his amazing family! It is always so hard to leave, but it is so good to be home. It was a adventure getting home…throwing up all over the rental car, getting lost for a hour, almost missing the plane, me crying, being delayed by weather, me crying, having to spend the night in Buffalo (not the greatest place), me crying again, and then finally catching a plane at 6 in the morning. Cooper hung in there through out the trip…no Canadian babies for us even though Brandon would love that!! It is hard to believe we were gone for 16 days, it went by so fast. I will post picture soon.

Here it is… the 26 week belly!! He is moving around like crazy now. You can actually see my belly move when he turns. Brandon seems to think it is very weird and it freaks him out. I have had days were I worry about him because I haven’t felt him move, then I lay down and he goes nuts. It is so reassuring. I can’t believe how fast time has gone…only 14 more weeks!!!

Here is a sneak peak at Cooper’s room. Our good friends James and Nichol came over and helped Brandon paint. The room came out better then I could have imagined it. My theme is pottery barn kids bug collection. I actually bought the bedding long before Cooper was even a thought because I loved it so much. At the time everyone thought I was crazy, but now I couldn’t be happier I bought it when I did.

According to my baby book Cooper is now the size of a ken doll. At least we are no longer a fruit or vegetable, but a doll!! Everything is moving a long so fast!! We are going to the doctor in a week for the glucose screening. I will keep everyone posted on updates.

Here is what you have been waiting for....the belly picture at 21 weeks. I feel good, but still have some morning sickness. I am waiting for the energy to kick in I hear so much about during the second trimester. Cooper is moving around and kicked Brandon the other night when he put his hand on my tummy. I truly feel blessed to have this little man inside me.

Boy!!! We are so excitted to be having a baby boy. We went for the ultasound Tuesday and everything looks great. He is measuring big right now and based on that my due date would be January 1st. So look for me on TV January 1st to see if Cooper Lee Cliff is the first baby of the new year!! I know everyone one wants a belly picture...it's coming soon!!

I got to hear our babies heart beat yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately, Brandon could not get the day off, so I took my mom with me. She loved going and hearing the amazing sound of the babies heart beating inside me. This will be her 5 grandchild, but the first one that she has ever gone to the doctor with. I guess it’s different when it’s your daughter giving birth verse daughter-in-law. I know it sounds silly, but my heart melted when I heard that little heart beat.

We want to thank James and Nichol for invited us down to their beautiful condo in Mexico. We had a great time enjoying the beach and the waves...this was the first time Brandon and I had been in the ocean together in 6 years (it's always to cold to go in the water when we go to the beach). Thank you again and we can't wait to go back!!

Brandon and I are very excited to announce that we are having a baby!!! We went for a ultrasound last Tuesday. We got to see the heart beating strong and the little bean moving around. I was thrilled to see the heartbeat and Brandon was thrilled to see there was only one! I am currently 9 weeks 5 days. We are due January 10th!! Can't wait to find out if it is a boy or girl!!

April 12th was a very busy day. We went to Glendale for my nephews 3rd birthday party at Bounce U. We had a blast bouncing on inflatable object, but were very sore by the end of the night. We then made it back to Tucson in time for James' early birthday party. Brandon and I

Just thought I would give everyone a little glimpse into our life. I love my husband more then word can describe, even though he looks disguised to be kissing me in the picture. That was taken at the San Diego zoo after I had gotten us lost for about 2 hours...so I understand why he wasn't thrilled with me at the moment. I have found a good use for blogging (or mabey just a excuss to do it), it is a great way for all of my family in Houston and Brandons family in Canada to see what we are up to.
